Links of the Week - A mixed bag

Some of these videos are old, like this kinetic sculpture movie or this beard-grower. Some are new, like microsoft screens demos or a baby vs. a breakdancer. Some make me feel like I am eight again, and some make my palms sweat.

And some are just cool pictures of squirrel jedis.

List, I banish Thee...

A friend of mine, months ago, asked me about an all-time great album list. She said she was developing her own. Being a list geek, I started one too. But what were the guidelines? Best ever albums? Most influential on my development? Albums to take with on a desert island? Top 5? 10? 50? It was way too broad, way too slippery. So it sat on my computer for months. And then I emailed her, and she had too abandoned hers for much the same reason, but had stopped much earlier (to her credit). So it sat for a few more months. And frankly, I am sick of looking at it. So here it is, I don't want to see it again. The internets can have it.
