A feisty young sea lion tries to climb a fence along Highway 101, trying to avoid capture in Petaluma, Calif. The sea lion apparently swam up the Petaluma River from the San Francisco Bay and headed toward the highway. It was taken to the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, Calif., where it will be examined and later released into the ocean.
